De 2002 a 2022,&nbsp;Ito&nbsp;Melodia&nbsp;foi o cantor da tricolor insulana. Pela Uni\u00e3o da Ilha recebeu seis vezes o pr\u00eamio Estandarte de Ouro, al\u00e9m do Estrela do Carnaval, Tamborim de Ouro, entre muitos outros. Em 2010, gravou o cd \u201c O samba em minha vida\u201d al\u00e9m de grava\u00e7\u00f5es produzidas por Mauro Diniz e Prateado, fazendo turn\u00ea com o show \u201cRa\u00edzes\u201d.
